Clinical Trials for Leukemia
Evaluation of GS-9219 in combination with cytoxan for dogs with acute leukemia

Eligibility Requirements
• Dogs with acute leukemia confirmed via immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, and/or flow cytometry
• Prior treatment with a doxorubicin containing chemotherapy protocol is acceptable, but dogs must be refractory to and off all chemotherapy prior to the start of this trial.
• Naïve dogs are also considered eligible
• Dogs previously treated with CCNU or bleomycin chemotherapy are NOT ELIGIBLE
• Dogs must be free of severe underlying diseases other than leukemia

Study Objective
The objectives of this study are to evaluate efficacy and safety of a novel chemotherapeutic, GS-9219, in combination with Cytoxan as treatment for acute leukemia in dogs.

Compensation
Owners are responsible for the costs of all initial screening including initial consultation and staging procedures. All additional costs are paid by the study including follow-up examinations, blood work, imaging, and treatments. The cost of treatment complications will also be covered by the study.
