Symptoms   DOGS: Difficulty and increased frequency urinating. Blood in urine.
Likely Location / Spread   DOGS: Starts in bladder; spreads to lymph nodes, liver and lungs.
Treatment Options  DOGS: Surgically remove as much of the tumor as possible. Primary treatment with radiation and chemotherapy.
Treatment Side Effects   DOGS: Various based upon what treatment is being given.
Treatment Duration  DOGS: Chemotherapy weekly or every 3 weeks, depending upon protocol.
Likely Outcome  DOGS: Without therapy: short survival time. With therapy: 9-12 months or more.
